Our building offers professional venue services with unique, historical character and community spirit. Situated in the heart of Southwark, we are ideally located to serve both Central London and the local community. Thanks to our unique architecture and building development activities, our building offers a variety of spaces – from intimate consultation and work spaces to the large, dynamic and adaptable Gilroy Hall.
Since 1889, Cambridge House has grown to occupy 5 gorgeous early 19th century houses along Camberwell Road and Addington Square. The building is Grade II-listed due to its historical and architectural significance.
We renovated our building in 2012, bringing Cambridge House into the 21st Century as a modern and fully accessible community hub. Around 1,500 people pass through our doors every week.
As Southwark’s community hub, our home is a place of inspiration and comfort to our community. Housing 14 resident community-focused organisations, we provide a dynamic, responsive, and innovative community resource.
Reflecting our position as an anchor in our local communities, our building is also used as an electoral polling station.
