Our areas of work include

5

Housing

We prevent homelessness by advising tenants about their housing rights and by legally representing people who face eviction, homelessness, disrepair, and other problems relating to their housing situations. We have an extremely high success rate when representing clients in court.

5

Employment

We provide an appointment-based employment advice service, providing guidance and support on the following: unlawful deduction of wages, equal pay, maternity rights, unfair dismissal, redundancy, and discrimination on the grounds of race, sex, disability, pregnancy, marital status and sexual identity.

5

Discrimination

We advise residents in Southwark and the surrounding boroughs, who have suffered discrimination at work or outside of work and who are eligible for legal aid.

5

Welfare Benefits

We help our clients understand the welfare system, ensuring they are fully aware of the support and entitlements available to them so they are better informed. We also run Welfare Rights outreach services in several community venues in Southwark and Lambeth. These are designed to help families with young children understand their options.

Crisis Navigation

Our Crisis Navigator can provide free advice and assistance to make sure you receive all the benefits you are entitled to. Contact us if you live in Southwark and Lambeth and are at risk of losing your home due to rent arrears or a change in your financial circumstances and/or your benefits been affected by changes in the law.

Supported by City Bridge Foundation.
