Many have no recourse to public funds or are not in contact with support services. We launched Safer Renting to respond to this serious crisis.

Supported by the London Housing Foundation, Safer Renting provides specialist casework support to households in need. The team works with Local Authorities across London to identify vulnerable households and provide them with the support they need to protect their rights, prevent homelessness and improve their housing situation.

The project pilot began in Hounslow in early 2016  Due to high demand, we’ve expanded to work in three more boroughs: Waltham Forest, Croydon, and Enfield.
