CitySafe: Jermain Jackman launches ‘Safe Haven’ at Cambridge House

Jermaine Jackman, CitySafe, 'Safe Haven', launchOn 12 December 2014, Jermain Jackman, winner of the 2014 Voice UK, launched Cambridge House as a CitySafe ‘Safe Haven’.

CitySafe is a community-led campaign from Citizens UK to make our streets safer. The campaign is about young people building relationships with the police and local businesses to open Safe Havens.

CitySafe Havens are places of safety for people in immediate danger or feeling threatened. Each Safe Haven displays a purple CitySafe logo in its window and works with the police to report 100% of crime. There are currently over 600 Safe Havens across London. Check out our map to find your nearest Safe Haven.

CitySafe works with thousands of young people and adults in schools, colleges, charities, churches, mosques, synagogues, and community groups, as part of the Citizens UK network. Through Community Organising, we bring together diverse groups to reweave the fabric of society.

Cambridge House is privileged to be part of this important campaign.
